Step into a morning of creativity, fresh air and floral abundance at our family-run farm in Silvan. This hands-on workshop invites you to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with nature as you gather blooms and craft your own seasonal garden-style arrangement.
BEGIN AMOUNG THE BLOOMS
We’ll start the day with a guided tour of our working flower farm, set high on a hilltop with sweeping views over the Victorian Yarra Valley. You’ll explore rows of dahlias, fragrant heirloom varieties and rare seasonal flowers — many of which are grown exclusively on our farm. Armed with a bucket and snips, you’ll pick your own selection of fresh, farm-grown stems to work with.
CREATE WITH NATURE
You’ll learn the foundations of natural floral design, guided by our sustainable floristry philosophy. We’ll share tips on harvesting, conditioning and arranging flowers to celebrate their natural form and beauty. Using your freshly picked blooms, you’ll create a loose, garden-inspired vase arrangement that captures the character and colour of the season.
OUR FARM & PHILOSOPHY
At Botaniculture, everything we do begins with the soil. Grown in rich volcanic earth, our flowers are nurtured with care, respect and a commitment to low-impact, environmentally friendly practices. We take pride in growing all the ingredients we use, choosing rare, scented and heirloom varieties that you won’t find anywhere else. Each bloom tells a story of place, season and craft.
A MORNING WELL SPENT
Enjoy time surrounded by flowers, fresh country air and likeminded flower lovers. Whether you’re new to floristry or simply love being outdoors, you’ll leave with new skills, inspiration and a beautiful arrangement to take home.
All flowers, tools and materials are provided. We recommend dressing for the farm with comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
