AMOUNG THE DAHLIAS
Step through the gates and join us for a morning surrounded by fresh air, blooms and the gentle beauty of the farm. We’ll start together with a relaxed tour of our flower farm market garden, where you can wander among rows of dahlias, see what’s in season, and learn a little about how we grow and care for each flower.
PICK YOUR OWN BUCKET OF BLOOMS
After exploring the garden, it’s your turn to harvest. We’ll have buckets ready for you to fill with your choice of freshly cut dahlias to take home, share, or arrange into something special. Allow yourself about an hour to an hour and a half for picking, pausing for photos, and enjoying the peaceful rhythm of the morning..
THE HEART OF BOTANICULTURE
Our family-run flower farm sits high on a hilltop in Silvan, with breathtaking views over the Victorian Yarra Valley. In rich volcanic soils, we grow rare, heirloom and beautifully scented blooms you won’t find anywhere else. Every stem is grown with care and intention, using sustainable, low-waste practices that honour both the land and the craft of floristry.
WHAT'S INCLUDED AND WHAT TO BRING
Your ticket includes a generous bucket of farm-fresh dahlias to take home, along with loan snips to use during your picking session. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes or gumboots, comfortable clothes that can brush against flower stems, and bringing a hat or sunscreen for sunny mornings. Don’t forget your camera to capture the colour and magic of the fields.
